Applebee’s Spirited Chef

The Challenge

Applebee’s was looking to engage with their audience before the critical holiday season, so their social media agency (BTC Revolutions) came up with a creative concept of letting the fans produce a video by tweeting crazy ideas for world champion flair bartender Christian Delpech to do. We’d have two days to do it, and we’d be broadcasting live behind the scenes to the massive Applebee’s fanbase.

The Solution

Not only did we create a signature video, but we also produced hundreds of short videos with individualized responses. It quickly became the most-viewed YouTube video that Applebee’s ever produced and was a finalist for “Best Use of Video” at the 2014 Shorty Awards in NYC.
